On our walk this morning (we’re visiting my dad in the Okanagan Valley of BC), we came upon several groups of people floating down the canal. I’ve done this in years past…a two to three hour float between lakes, depending on the current…and believe me, it’s heaven.
Everything that we want is downstream... And you don't even have to turn the boat and paddle downstream, just let go of the oars, the current will carry you.

This trip is several hours of enforced relaxation. You’re a prisoner of your tube! The current controls the direction. There’s literally nothing else that can be done except chat with fellow floaters and let the journey unfold.
The mind must be trained to follow the flow of the heart's river.

I haven't "gone with the flow" for years but on my return trip in August, it will be me you see relaxing in that tube!
