
This is the first in a series of channeled messages, given to me from a very loving, non-physical energy called Shera, who has made it known to me that it was time for us to work together in bringing messages of love and understanding to the world. This weeks channelling speaks to our distress at the massive change and destruction that is happening on our planet at this time.
Our dearest ones, we are most joyed to be connecting with you through the medium of the computer, to share our perspective and wisdom with you. This is a most difficult time in so many ways, for so many upon your planet. Fear is running rampant, sorrow is engulfing the consciousness and great emotional pain is present. But it is for a purpose dear ones...it is not the wrath of an angry god and it is not the random shrugging of the dirt and rocks and ocean water that your planet is composed of. It is a shift...a shift in consciousness yes, and a literal shift as well. There are astronomical alignments that are happening with your world which will assist with the culmination of this goal. It is literally changing on it’s axis in order to align and receive a higher vibrating energy.

It is one thing to be in possession of this information and quite another to stay balanced during the turmoil that ensues. Staying balanced when you are surrounded by fear is a gift you must all be willing to give yourself now. If a child is injured, parents intuitively know not to panic. They know and understand how important it is not to lose themselves in fear, both for the child’s emotional wellbeing and for the need to cope with a level head during a crisis. It is the same for any crisis...it is necessary to think calmly and not become a part of the energy of disaster, for that will only contribute to the chaos.
It is important to practice and become skilled with techniques which will assist you to stay calm with small frustrations; losing your car keys or the many other incidents that happen during the course of a day which cause you stress and anxiety. This is where it begins. It takes commitment, resolve and a desire for a peaceful life to stay the course but then so does anything in your world that you value. To learn to play a good game of tennis you must hit many tennis balls. To excel in any sport or to learn to play a musical insturment will require hours of practice and so it is, to become a peaceful person also requires daily focus.

There are many techniques to assist you...deepening the breath, being in nature where the energies are cleansing and calming, journaling, meditating, dancing...whatever moves your energy. There are many things that can be done, but all require conscious effort. The most important step, is to make the decision that a peaceful and balanced life is what you desire for without this peace, life is merely lived rather than loved. When peace is your intention, the way forward will become available to you, both physically and energetically. There is a saying in your world that when the student is ready, the teacher will come. The teacher in this case may be a book that someone loans you, a conversation with a stranger in a coffee shop or a notice for a workshop in a magazine.
It’s important to have compassion for those who are enduring and suffering but it is equally as important to hold the door open for solution and resolution to enter. If your friend receives a frightening medical diagnosis, your balance and compassion will give them the courage and resolve they need to walk their healing journey...sinking into despair with them, will not.
So it is for the people of Japan...and New Zealand...and Libya. Free yourself from the media with all it’s terrifying images which are flashed over and over and over again before your eyes. This is an extremely important factor as the media earns it’s living on fear. It markets and sells fear very succesfully.
You may support those in need financially if you’re able but even more important than this is not to sink into fear and despair. Keep a place of peace and refuge in your energy for those who are hurt, homeless and bereft, by holding a picture in your mind of their strength, unity and wholeness. Use this technique for yourself as well...picture yourself peaceful and happy, knowing that you have everything you will ever need, within yourself. Do not allow yourself to become engulfed with fear, for fear attracts more fear and so the downward spiral begins. The opposite is also true...peace attracts more peace and you are all connected energetically.

Dearest ones, we know this is not an easy time for the world and there will be other times ahead where you will be tempted to feel fearful and anxious. Right now, more than ever...the world needs the strength of each individual person. It needs calm and it needs resolve. It needs openness and inclusion. It needs clarity. Even at it’s worst, especially at it’s worst, it needs your joy and laughter. And above all else, it needs your love.
None of this is possible when you’re mired in fear and despair.
We leave you now with the knowledge that you are never alone dear ones, not a single one of you. There are many of us who love you and wish to assist you. Call on us. We are always here for you.

The angel in the photographs above is one that came home with me from Mexico this year. I fell in love with this very modern looking folk art angel...she's almost 2 ft. tall and is sitting on the hearth of my fireplace. She was created by an artist in Michoacan, Mexico and they "fly" out the gallery, as quickly as they arrive.
PS. Just after writing this post, I recieved an email from Nick and Jessica Ortner who promote EFT or meridian tapping, as a way to "tap" into physical and emotional wellbeing.
