Here we are once again…we’ve gone around the calendar one more time and now it’s November…and that means 30 days of Gratitude...a Flickr photo group administered/organized by O.Joy from Oh Joy Photography.
I participated last year and didn’t find it to be too much, but I did give myself permission right up front, to not post every day if things get crazy…as they do at times! November can be a difficult month...on Vancouver Island we get the most rainfall in November...so this project is a good focus.
We have lots of naturally wooded area around us, so we’re fortunate to have lots of birds visit our feeder. The binoculars and our reference guide “Birds of Southern British Columbia” are always nearby. The birds change with the seasons and some are literally “just flying through” on their trip north or south from the boreal forests to the tropics. Can you imagine the journey they make each year? And not once but twice! We’re grateful that they often stop to rest and refuel with us.
I don't ask for the meaning of the song of a bird or the rising of the sun on a misty morning.
There they are, and they are beautiful.

Thanks for stopping by...I'm grateful for each and every one of you!
