It’s an overcast, moody November day and despite the drizzle and “scotch mist” we trekked around Whittey’s Lagoon this morning. The water birds were there en masse and we enjoyed the forest walk despite the dampness. We’ve had family visiting from out of town this week and it’s been lovely…our next catch-up will be in Mexico next February. Different setting, different climate…same fun.
I’m so grateful to be connected with family and as we get older this isn’t something that can be taken for granted. We enjoy and treasure the moments that we share together.
Happy shared blessings to all and thank you for sharing yourself with me…both here and on your own blogs.
The pic definitely has the moody feel...lovely post, Kate. Family is so important and every moment is indeed precious.

Yes, to have family at all is a blessing and then to be able to be together is a double blessing. I too enjoy the picture. It's interesting to see your photos farther north as the climate changes. It is so similar to here, as I think you are only perhaps 250 or so miles north of me. xoO
