Inspired: The Passion of Wanting Transformation

I created this digital piece while I was in Mexico last month. The inspiration came to me in a dream…I had been listening to an audio recording by Veronica Torres and Eloheim before I went to sleep. The words in the recording that spoke to me were about the requirement of intense desire and passion in order to create transformation in our lives. I wanted the words to be there but not easily readable...something that required focus to read, rather than just a quick glance. This is what’s required for any kind of transformation...a clear and focused intent.

The text reads...

the desire for transformation must come

with the willingness to lay down the old stories.

it must be your hearts desire.

it must be what you really, truly want

...the thing that you would work for,

the thing that you would scrabble for,

the thing that you yearn for,

the thing that you would wake up in the morning for and say

"yes! this is what I want to do"

and you go to bed knowing that you worked on it that day.

there's a passion, a fierceness, a readiness

...where you are fierce in your desire for the transformation

...where you scream to the heavens and say

"please help me with this, I'm ready.

I can't wait for it to change.

I want it to be different.

I'm willing to take the change that comes with that change.

I'm ready for the transformation this brings up for me, to happen."

It's a passion.

you wake up in the morning thinking about it

and it's the last thing on your mind when you fall asleep.

It's a passion of growth, the passion of chewing more and more and more

...it's the passion of wanting transformation.

I'm visiting with my dad for awhile...the weather is warm...I've been walking along the canal...I'm tired...I saw a biggish snake today (a bull snake)...I saw three black bears yesterday...(I also saw thousands of marmots!)...the lilacs are blooming...I'm thinking of having a cream tea tomorrow (with scones, strawberries and devon cream) for the queens jubilee...I met an old friend today...there's a warm wind blowing...I need a good nights sleep!
